San Juan Health Care Services operates San Juan Hospital, a twenty-four bed acute care facility, in the community of Monticello. The hospital is fully equipped, and maintains a well-trained, qualified staff. Four family practice physicians, one general surgeon, one nurse practitioner, and five physician's assistants are on the active medical staff.

Consulting physicians hold periodic clinics in Allergy/Asthma, Cardiology, Dermatology, Opthamology, Orthopedics, and Podiatry. Ancillary services available at San Juan Hospital include laboratory, radiology, ultrasound, mammography, treadmill, EKG, and physical therapy. A cardiac care room with telemetry is maintained, as is a licensed "swingbed" or longterm care facility.

  • Long term and nursing home care provided with a full spectrum of geriatric care.
• Ambulance Service (San Juan Emergency Medical Service)
  Operates from Monticello, Blanding, Montezuma Creek, Bluff, Mexican Hat, and Monument Valley. A First Responder Group operates at La Sal.
